Opportunities Inside These Four Walls

We are a start-up church so of course we need help. If you want to be a part of anything we do, whether that be worship, tech (audio/visual), small groups, or anything you could possibly come up with, contact us and let us know. Konnection Kids is our children's ministry and we need YOU!  Our children are very important to us and we want them to experience Jesus Christ in a very real and intimate way.  If you have never work with kids before and wouldn't even know where to start....perfect!   We are just looking for willing servants that want to see the kingdom of God expanded.  So please help us continue our ability to minister to our future.  Contact Susan Williams (swilliams@connection-church.com) for more info.

 

 

Connection has just start a new Youth Group!  We have been blown away by the response from people wanting to serve in this new Ministry, but we are always looking for more passionate people.  Our biggest goal for our Youth Group is for it to be discipleship driven.  And for that to happen affectively, we need a lot of people.  it is just like in the classroom, the smaller the ratio of students to teacher there is, the more the students can learn.  If you have any questions on how to get involved please contact Jon Irvan at jirvan@connection-church.com.  Youth meets every Sunday from 5:30-6:45 pm and is open to 6-12th grades.

We firmly believe that LOVE is not our own. Because we believe this, we have compiled some opportunities that we think are rather awesome:

 

Our Bridges Ministry is how we believe that God has instructed us to bridge the gap between the love we know and those who've never known the love of Jesus. That's the vision behind all of this; that we would see His love flow from us to them. As a new church we don't feel the need to create program after program, when there are already so many great organizations that minister to those in need.  One of those is Habitat for Humanity.  Every Saturday from 9-2, you can roll up your sleeves and begin changing peoples lives one house at a time.  For more information on how to get plugged into this ministry contact the church.

 

 

Throughout the year we collect canned foods to take over to the Hearts and Hands food bank.  This is an incredible program that provides food for the hungry.  The food bank allows people to get around $40 in groceries for about $1.20.  You can drop off your canned foods anytime at the church.

 

 

 

TOMS shoes is a company that's motto is One For One. For every purchase one pair of shoes will be given to a child in need. TOMS shoe company is slated for over 300,000 pairs of shoes distributed in 2009. Join the movement.

There are many times that people in need come by the church with an immediate need...they just need a hot meal.  So we decided to team up with Snooky's to provide coupon vouchers for people that just need a quick hot meal.  We have a box in the back of the Sanctuary marked , "Snooky Dollar s" that you can make your donation in.  You have no idea what a simple meal can mean to someone without just that.
