Outreach

Outreach and Missions are huge to Connection Church.  But we did not want to be a church that just does Missions, but BE a missional Church!  Each week there are 10,080 minutes, and our weekly worship experiences at 75 minutes.  We are always going to be missional in our services, so the question is, "What are you going to do with the other 10,005 (10K5)?"  So the heart of Connection is to be missional every minute of every day, not just on a mission trip or service day.  So what does your 10K5 look like?

Our initiative to share the Gospel every minute of everyday.

 

This year we have several opportunities for you to get involved, and everyone can at least take part in one of these.

1.  April 29th Community Service Day - Opportunity for us to invest in our city.  We meet at SHS at 9 AM and work until 3 PM.

2.  Honduras Trip (May 18-25) - We will be buiiding a pond dam, ministering to a girls home, and take part in various other ministry opportunities. 

3.  Bahamas Trip (June 17-23)- Geared towards our Middle and High School students, but everyone is welcome.  We will be doing some light construction, working with children, food distribution and sports clinics.

4.  InGen Project (June 27-30) - An Intergenerational mission project designed with families in mind.  Will be doing light construction, painting, and landscaping in the community of Griffin, GA. Ages 6 and up.

5.  Haiti Trip (July 13-23) - This is a medical missions trip, but don't worry there is no medical experience necessary.

6.  Give - Sharing the Gospel with the world is important.  So is enabling these trips to physically happen.  Though you may not be able to go on a trip, you can enable someone else to go.  Please consider giving the finances God has blessed you with to help send more peoople and more supplies to those who need it.

7.  Pray - Don't count yourself out if you can't go or give.  You still have your words.  Your prayers are very important.  Our teams need you to pray for their safety, the mission they are on, and the people they come into contact with.
